Inspired by a not so subtle love of birds and a lifelong fascination with animals and native flora, Mia is a Melbourne-based artist and illustrator whose work gently brings our attention back to the natural world. Working primarily in watercolour, Mia also enjoys experimenting with mixed media, keeping her hands busy and her practice intuitive, and is always experimenting with new ways to connect with her environment. Her work is gentle and warm, using a calming palette and intricate detail.
